Our Company

Commonwealth Candle is a fragrance company owned and operated by Stefanie Brooks. 

Stefanie is a crafter and DIYer by nature. When not making candles or spending time with family, she is usually sewing or reading. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Josh. They have a young son, an old dog, and a mean cat, all of which they love dearly. 

All of our products are designed, handcrafted, and shipped out of our studio in Louisville, Kentucky. Our goal is to create high quality fragrance products that we can feel morally good about selling. 

Our Products

We pride ourselves on making clean burning, safe, and amazing smelling products. Meet your new favorite candle! All of our candles and wax melts are made with 100% soy wax made from American grown soy beans. No additives, no paraffin wax, no fillers, and no dyes. Our wicks are zinc-free, lead-free, 100% cotton with paper filament. Our fragrance oils are made with top quality oils that have been specially formulated for candles. This includes some essential oils. They are always phthalate-free and carcinogen-free.

All of our candles and melts are made in small batches to ensure the best quality product. Our candles burn clean, are cruelty-free, and are 100% vegan. We want to help you make your home, office, and life smell amazing.
